It is a common misconception that localisation is just a translation and “some more”. As we see it, localisation is a complex system in which the readers and software users have all the material shaped to their local needs, while they are not necessarily aware of the existence of an “original”. Often, the original text cannot be localised through conventional translation and requires additional information and elements of creative writing, something our team will gladly do. Your message will be delivered in a professional tone and reflect the needs and culture of the target country.

Our main experts work in software localisation. We approach this as a job requiring much more attention to detail than a standard translation. Successful software localisation demands an understanding of the target market and of the key goals of the localisation project as well of the software being changed, the platforms on which it runs on. And most importantly, local laws, society, culture, people and mentality must all be taken into account.
For this reason, our colleagues all work from their respective target country – speaking a language is one thing, but “living it”, is quite another.

Localisation is not only delivering a message, it’s delivering the right message in the right tone in an almost new product.

Many believe that translation is simply saying, or writing, something in a different language.

The real challenge though, is to deliver the message of the same strength and weight in a different language. Correct translation is not only transferring a text from language A to language B, it is also a matter of convincing readers that it was written in their own language and for them.

Our translators have more than a decade of experience and language proficiency can help you to deliver that message in a way that will be accepted by the readers, improving your chances of success and making it easier to make that breakthrough.
