Quality assurance
Translations should always pass at least one secondary check before they are sent to production or back to customer. For highly complex or large projects, for example, we have developed strategies to help us deliver the same exceptional quality even when the project has been shared between several translators and proofreaders. We have tools available helping us in preserving consistency and terminology, we have Style Guides helping translators choose the right general tone of their translations, and several colleagues who have been trained to perform Linguistic or Functional Quality Analysis of the translated material.
Using Translation Quality metrics, we are able to present to our customers a measurable and assessable score of our own translation, or that of third party being measured. The data measured always depends on the customers precise needs, but one of the widely accepted in our industry is the weighted score combined from the number of accuracy, grammar, punctuality, sometimes country standards and general style errors in a given number of words. This score is called Translation Quality Index and is being used by several Language Service Providers all around the globe.
We understand that in Quality Measurement the constant need of Objective Assessment is crucial, therefore on disputable scores we use several linguists who can discuss the real issue from more points of view, and very often, we include the translation team in the process as they are providing a valuable starting point of the final product. These teams always work together, and not one against the other, having in mind only one mutual goal: delivering the best product to our partners, customers.
If you already have a translation, but need a second opinion, you have come to the right place. Our proofreaders can analyze your translation, identify grammatical, stylistic and logical flaws, and edit the text as required, or present you with a Translation Quality Index scorecard.
Invest in quality, and leave your opponents behind!
Testing

Testing is a core part of any web- or program-based translation – strange things can happen to text transferred from one format to another. Without tests performed, an error invisible on paper can cause severe damage or embarrassment on the computer screen. We have years of experience testing translated products and programs, newly developed software and thousands of web-pages – checking not only the functionality, but also grammar, style, accuracy, tone and the overall “feel” of the content.
Since testing is a demanding and often a timely job, it is important to assign an expert to be working on your files. This will not only cut your costs, but will also help develop a better product. Our senior testing colleagues all have a decade of experience, there is not much that can skip their eyes.
Include testing as a standard part of your software localization process, and you will be less worried about the outcome. Let our team perform the necessary measurements, and be confident that the product out there is suitable for its purpose.
